The RevGalBlogPals, a supportive online community and ministry resource for clergywomen since 2005, has birthed a book! There’s A Woman In the Pulpit: Christian Clergywomen Share Their Hard Days, Holy Moments, and the Healing Power of Humor (SkyLight Paths Publishing) was released on Friday April 17. It is a collection of essays by about 50 clergywomen describing exactly what the title promises! Rev. Pat Raube, Pastor of Union Presbyterian Church, has two essays in the book, which was created as a labor of love in support of RevGalBlogPals.

RiverRead Books, 5 Court Street in Binghamton (607-217-7292), will be carrying the book. They will also host a reading on Wednesday evening, May 6, at 6:30 PM. Joining Rev. Pat at the reading will be two RevGals from Pennsylvania, the Rev. Kathryn Zucker Johnston (one of the book's contributors) and editor-contributor-RevGals minister-director, the Rev. Martha Spong.
