P. A. S. T. Sacred Sites Tour

Union Presbyterian Church is once again a part of the Preservation Association of the Southern Tier (P.A.S.T.) Sacred Sites Tour! The tour is a self-guided experience taking place throughout the Southern Tier. UPC will be open from noon to 4 PM to receive visitors. The P.A.S.T. listing is as follows:

 

The church has its origin to the migration of settlers to the area after the War for Independence. A log cabin church was built in 1791 as a Dutch Reformed Church later becoming Union Presbyterian Church. The present edifice built in 1907 of cut stone houses The Doris M. Edwards museum to church history and Union. This congregation is the oldest continuing faith community in the Southern Tier.

 

A brief concert featuring Union Presbyterian Church musicians will be presented at 2:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be available throughout the afternoon.
