This story has everything. There’s a wedding— an event known in modern culture, chiefly, for being expensive and stressful. Do the newlyweds even know each other? Do the families even like each other? And then, at the reception where people are eating, drinking, and being merry, a true emergency: no more wine! Add a slightly overbearing mother—of a guest, not the bride, and her grown son, rolling his eyes and whispering, “Not NOW, ma!” What will happen next?
