Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, if another member of the church sins against me, how often should I forgive? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “Not seven times, but, I tell you, seventy-seven times." ~ Matthew 18:21-22
Forgiveness is at the heart of what itmeans to be a Christian. Jesus' life and death were centered around the work of forgiveness, and he commended forgiveness to his friends and followers in the strongest terms.
And forgiveness is hard. You know?
This Sunday we hear Jesus' words, we take them to heart, and we try again. We hope you'll join us!
