Pentecost Sunday marks the day when winds of the Spirit blew through the gathered followers of Jesus, igniting their passion for sharing the light of Christ! On June 9, Union Presbyterian Church will celebrate the birth of both the church of Jesus Christ and our own particular corner of it in the Union district of Endicott. Our guest, the Rev. Jimmie Hawkins (Director of the Presbyterian Church’s Office of Public Witness in Washington DC) will help us to catch the excitement and joy of the Holy Spirit, as all our musical forces join together to present music specially commissioned for the occasion.
