If we really think about it, the wilderness is all around us. Life is challenging even on the best of days. When the world feels chaotic and scary, the wilderness is with us always. Fortunately, there is someone who went before us: Jesus. This morning we meet him in the wilderness, and see how he clung to his humanity throughout a time of chaos and testing.
