Arise, shine; for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
For darkness shall cover the earth,
and thick darkness the peoples;
but the Lord will arise upon you,

This is a day of celebration! We will hear the story of the three Wise Ones who travel across many lands to seek out the child Jesus. The light of Christ goes out to all the nations!

At the same time, we will celebrate the fullness of our Bicentennial year by rededicating ourselves to the task of sharing Christ’s light every day. We will sing, and pray, and hear God’s word, and gather around God’s table in thanksgiving. This is a day of celebration! And you are invited.
