For this solemn evening we gather in our Fellowship Hall. We recall Jesus’ last meal with his friends and the hours leading up to his death. We share communion around the tables. We take part in the service of deepening shadows, the Tenebrae (Latin for “shadows” or “darkness”). We depart in silence, pondering the mystery of God’s love, and waiting expectantly for God’s further action.
