John the Baptist takes the prize for "crankiest pastor." He called his followers "a brood of vipers," and yet they still lined up for his baptism of repentance. On this second Sunday in Advent we will be joining the baptizer's followers, and listening hard to his message of challenge and encouragement. We will also be commissioning the Rev. Jeff Kellam to keep on doing what he has been doing: serving, leading, and loving the people of Union Presbyterian Church with the new title of Parish Associate. We would love for you to join us!
