Reformation Sunday: When God Reforms Us

In two days, on October 31, the Protestant world will mark the date on which Martin Luther sent his bishop a "disputation" on "the Power and Efficacy of Indulgences," his 95 theses for debate. (There is also a strongly held account of Luther nailing those theses to the door of All Saints Church in Wittenberg, but that cannot be verified, and is believed to be a legend.) What does it mean to be a church "reformed, and always reforming"? How is it that God writes a covenant on the heart? Join us this Reformation Sunday, to look at one of the distinctive tenets of Presbyterianism, and to praise the God who creates, saves, and sustains us all.
